Good Shepherd Sunday: Jesus Seeks the Lost Sheep

Yesterday, on the fourth Sunday of Easter, the Church celebrated Good Shepherd Sunday. This feast reminds us of one of the most tender and comforting images of Jesus: the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep (John 10:11).

The image of Christ as Shepherd has always been one of my favorites. During college, while sitting in Adoration at my campus ministry chapel, I had a powerful vision of Jesus running frantically after me — the one sheep who had strayed from the fold.

That moment showed me His relentless love. Every day, I remain grateful that the Lord chose to come after me, to bring me back, and to unite me more closely to His Sacred Heart.

I’m Amy

After learning about a saint who played tennis and hung out with her friends at coffee shops, I realized you don’t have to be a martyr or a nun to get to Heaven! Through this blog, I share that awesome truth. When I’m not writing, you can find me coding, frequenting Adoration, ice skating, or finding another corgi on Instagram to obsess over.
